Before words get past the lips, the first gatekeeper asks, “Is this true?” If the words get past the first gatekeeper, there is a second who asks, “Is it kind?” And for those words that qualify here too, the last gatekeeper asks, “Is it necessary?”

Faith Can Move Mountains

If you trust Him, God shows you the way. If you are humble enough to know that you can do little by yourself, if you have enough faith to ask God to give you the strength you need, and if you are grateful enough for His grace, you can ‘move mountains.’

What is the purpose of food?  It is meant to nourish the body.  One can change so that food that was once unappealing will start to taste better than rich, unhealthy food that was earlier one’s favorite.  Food and the taste buds are a good place to start practising self-control. You don’t have to fast or adopt strange diets, just move away from unhealthy foods and choose foods that are.
